This Privacy Notice outlines how ‘Aesthetics by Kelly’ collects, protects, uses and transfers your personal data. Aesthetics by Kelly is owned by Kelly Burgess and the business provides services including facials, anti-wrinkle treatments, vitamin injections, fat dissolving injections, skin boosting treatments and dermal fillers. Collecting personal data ​

  Your personal data is collected through the Aesthetics by Kelly website, over the phone, in person, by email, social media, or in writing. This information is stored using the WIX software platform and also some paper record keeping. The following information is collated...

• Date of birth

• Address

• Email address

• Phone number

• Health information

 

Consent forms will include questions about your health, which are necessary to highlight whether a treatment is not suitable, or may be detrimental to your health due to an existing condition or medication that you may be taking. Your consent can be withdrawn (subject to legal, insurance and contractual restrictions). Your privacy is very important and this information is only used for determining your suitability for treatment. 

 

Nb. Aesthetics by Kelly does not store personal information regarding children under the age of 16.

Processing your personal data

Aesthetics by Kelly is required to collate information from clients in order to ensure that she can provide treatment advice, services and products for each individual - to ensure that her clients' needs and her business' legal obligations are met. Clients' privacy is taken seriously - unnecessary personal information will not be collected and where information is 'sensitive' (e.g. medical data), you will be advised why this information is required. Each client is required to sign a consent form in order for Aesthetics by Kelly to collect, process and store medical/health information.

Your personal data will not be shared with any third party unless prior consent is given or as a part of any legal obligation relating to data protection laws. Kelly Burgess consults with a prescribing nurse to ensure clients receive the best treatment - in such cases, your consent will be requested.

 

Nb. ​Aesthetics by Kelly has strict agreements in place with with any third-parties whom she works with, to ensure that personal information is held securely and those third parties (prescribing nurse) will not share any personal data without consent/instruction. ​

Storing your data​

Aesthetics by Kelly will need to store your data for the duration of you being a client. Under tax laws your personal data has to be kept for a minimum of 7 years. Health and Safety records will be retained for 10 years. Where you have subsribed/given consent to receive marketing updates and email promotions, your personal data will be stored until you request that you no longer wish to receive marketing information.

Aesthetics by Kelly would need to continue to store/process personal information if there is a legal reason or obligation, e.g. for defence of a legal claim.

Keeping your personal data safe ​

Appropriate measures are in place to protect your personal data from unauthorised access. Your connection to the website and booking system is a HTTP Secure communication protocol with TLS security. Any paper files recording your personal data are held secure and are only accessible by Kelly Burgess.
